Hi there! My name is Carmel and I’m a digital artist specialising in portrait commissions and surface pattern design for products and brands.

My work focuses on capturing personality, colour, and detail—whether that’s through a meaningful, one-of-a-kind portrait or a repeatable pattern designed for commercial use.

I create bespoke digital portraits from photos and ideas, carefully drawing each piece by hand in Procreate. I’m particularly drawn to the small details that make something feel personal, with the aim of creating artwork that feels expressive, thoughtful, and lasting.

Alongside this, I design surface patterns inspired by everyday subjects, from florals and food to playful, decorative elements. My designs are created with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, allowing them to translate seamlessly across products such as clothing, textiles, homeware, and packaging.

I enjoy balancing one-off, personal artwork with designs that can be used more widely, bringing art into everyday objects in a practical and engaging way.

I’m available for portrait commissions, as well as commercial projects including custom pattern design, licensing, and collaborations.
